V\u00fdvoj jeho je\u0161t\u011b dostupn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed alternativy p\u0159ipom\u00ednaj\u00ed prototypy \u0160koda Sagitta z let 1936 a\u017e 1938 s atypick\u00fdm vzduchem chlazen\u00fdm dvouv\u00e1lcem. Na n\u011b nav\u00e1zal s\u00e9riov\u00fd model Popular 995 \u201eLidu\u0161ka\u201c s vodou chlazen\u00fdm \u010dty\u0159v\u00e1lcem.<\/strong><\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<p>V obdob\u00ed mezi ob\u011bma sv\u011btov\u00fdmi v\u00e1lkami si koupi osobn\u00edho automobilu mohli dovolit pouze l\u00e9pe situovan\u00ed ob\u010dan\u00e9 \u010ceskoslovenska, na \u0159ad\u011b zahrani\u010dn\u00edch trh\u016f tomu bylo podobn\u011b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Dom\u00e1c\u00ed vozidla prodra\u017eovaly relativn\u011b mal\u00e9 v\u00fdrobn\u00ed s\u00e9rie, popt\u00e1vku nav\u00edc oslabovala velmi vysok\u00e1 \u00farove\u0148 zdan\u011bn\u00ed motorist\u016f. Na podzim 1929 situaci d\u00e1le vyost\u0159ila sv\u011btov\u00e1 hospod\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e1 krize.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Automobilka \u0160koda, jej\u00ed\u017e z\u00e1klady polo\u017eili pr\u00e1v\u011b p\u0159ed 125 lety V\u00e1clavov\u00e9 Laurin a Klement v Mlad\u00e9 Boleslavi, v\u0161ak do n\u00ed vstupovala dob\u0159e p\u0159ipravena. V\u00fdvoj zcela nov\u00e9 generace automobil\u016f \u0160koda odstartoval v l\u00e9t\u011b 1932 na deta\u0161ovan\u00e9m pracovi\u0161ti v pra\u017esk\u00fdch Let\u0148anech pod veden\u00edm Ing. Josefa Zubat\u00e9ho.<\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<p>Zna\u010dka \u0160koda tehdy m\u011bla bohat\u00e9 zku\u0161enosti s \u0159adov\u00fdmi kapalinou chlazen\u00fdmi \u010dty\u0159dob\u00fdmi \u010dty\u0159v\u00e1lci, kter\u00e9 vyr\u00e1b\u011bla ji\u017e od roku 1906. P\u0159esto se v\u011bnovala i alternativn\u00edm \u0159e\u0161en\u00edm. Ing. Zubat\u00fd tak navrhl v lednu 1933 \u010dty\u0159dob\u00fd vzduchem chlazen\u00fd dvouv\u00e1lec do V o objemu 750-800 cm3 a v\u00fdkonu p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 16 kon\u00ed (12 kW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>V \u010dervnu vyjel prototyp \u0160koda 112 s dvoudob\u00fdm p\u016fllitrov\u00fdm jednov\u00e1lcem u poh\u00e1n\u011bn\u00fdch zadn\u00edch kol. Na podzim byla ov\u011b\u0159ov\u00e1na i varianta se vzduchem chlazen\u00fdm \u010dty\u0159dob\u00fdm vidlicov\u00fdm dvouv\u00e1lcem objemu 850 cm3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Od z\u00e1\u0159\u00ed 1933 Ing. Zubat\u00fd pokra\u010doval s dvoudob\u00fdm dvouv\u00e1lcem typu 222, v\u00fdsledky v\u0161ak veden\u00ed automobilky nep\u0159esv\u011bd\u010dily: v \u0159\u00edjnu 1933 dostaly zelenou \u010dty\u0159dob\u00e9 motory, vznikl prototyp \u0160koda typ 215 s \u0159adov\u00fdm dvouv\u00e1lcem 804 cm3 a 15 kon\u00ed (11 kW).<\/p><br>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img provozu. \u0160kodovka je z\u00e1kazn\u00edk\u016fm dok\u00e1zala nab\u00eddnout za cenu bl\u00edzkou konkuren\u010dn\u00edm dvouv\u00e1lc\u016fm, p\u0159esto\u017ee v\u00fdrobn\u011b byly o zhruba 650 korun dra\u017e\u0161\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Ji\u017e od z\u00e1\u0159\u00ed 1932 prob\u00edhaly slibn\u00e9 zkou\u0161ky prototyp\u016f \u0160koda 420 a na ja\u0159e 1933 jejich v\u00fdsledn\u00e1 podoba s p\u0159\u00edzviskem Standard \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b vstoupila na trh.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0160koda 420 Standard i od \u00fanora 1934 vyr\u00e1b\u011bn\u00e1 <a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/\u0160koda_Popular\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u0160 418 Popular<\/a> m\u011bly kubaturu 902 cm3, v dubnu 1934 nab\u00eddku doplnila \u0160 420 Popular s parametry 995 cm3 a 22 kon\u00ed (16 rok pozd\u011bji 18 800 K\u010d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Popular v\u010detn\u011b uveden\u00fdch nejlevn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch verz\u00ed ale postupn\u011b narostl do \u010dty\u0159metrov\u00e9 d\u00e9lky, tak\u017ee uvolnil prostor v ni\u017e\u0161\u00edm tr\u017en\u00edm segmentu \u2013 a \u00favahy o skute\u010dn\u011b masov\u00e9 motorizaci prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm mal\u00e9ho vozidla s 3400 mm, \u0161\u00ed\u0159kou 1320 mm a v\u00fd\u0161kou 1420 mm. Dokumentace v archivu automobilky neuv\u00e1d\u00ed p\u0159esnou dataci, ale podle \u0159azen\u00ed v z\u00e1znamech spad\u00e1 projekt Sagitta do let 1936 a\u017e 1938: po \u00favodn\u00edm podvozku, osazen\u00e9m v dubnu 1936 nezn\u00e1m\u00fdm proveden\u00edm karoserie, n\u00e1sledovaly dva kabriolety, d\u00e1le \u010dty\u0159i kup\u00e9 (li\u0161\u00edc\u00ed se mimo jin\u00e9 posuvn\u00fdmi nebo spou\u0161t\u011bc\u00edmi skly ve dve\u0159\u00edch) a jeden tudor se \u010dty\u0159mi plnohodnotn\u00fdmi sedadly m\u00edsto dispozice 2+2. T\u0159\u00edstup\u0148ov\u00e1 p\u0159evodovka tvo\u0159ila mont\u00e1\u017en\u00ed celek s rozvodovkou zadn\u00ed n\u00e1pravy, podobn\u011b jako u modelu Popular. Toto progresivn\u00ed \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed \u201etransaxle\u201c se v zahrani\u010dn\u00ed produkci prosadilo a\u017e o mnoho let pozd\u011bji, nav\u00edc tak\u0159ka v\u00fdhradn\u011b u drah\u00fdch sportovn\u00edch a z\u00e1vodn\u00edch model\u016f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u0158idi\u010di a spolujezdci voz\u016f \u0160koda Popular nebo Sagitta nab\u00eddlo transaxle v\u00edce m\u00edsta pro nohy, d\u00e1le zlep\u0161ilo polohu t\u011b\u017ei\u0161t\u011b a trakci. Vzhledem k pra\u0161n\u00e9mu charakteru tehdej\u0161\u00edch silnic a \u00fazk\u00e9mu rozchodu 1050 mm nevadila u voz\u016f Sagitta absence diferenci\u00e1lu, 16palcov\u00e1 kola d\u00edky tomu m\u00e9n\u011b prokluzovala v bl\u00e1t\u011b, p\u00edsku nebo sn\u011bhu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovladatelnosti prosp\u011blo p\u0159esn\u00e9 h\u0159ebenov\u00e9 \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed, pr\u00e1zdn\u00fd v\u016fz nav\u00edc v\u00e1\u017eil jen 580 kg a pln\u011b obsazen\u00fd 860 kg.
